The Department of Commerce, through its Commerce Association, conducted a session on the topic “Exploring the World of Travel and Tourism” on November 14, 2024. The session was led by Ms. Jeena Fernandez, CEO of Bestination Holidays, and her team. They discussed the rapidly changing trends in tourism from a global perspective. Ms. Fernandez, drawing on her 20+ years of experience in the tourism industry, shared valuable insights with the participants. This session took the participants through the vast industry , it’s scope and significance. She also shared the various career opportunities in the tourism industry for its aspirants. It also portrayed the growth opportunities in this sector. This session helped the participants to understand the tourism industry in detail and provided them with the opportunity to shape their career brighter.
